Understanding AncestryDNA’s Genetic Communities

Free Recording Available

I watched this webinar yesterday and I have to tell you that it was excellent. Even though I’d been part of the beta test group, there were things I learned. Some interesting statistics from this webinar were;

  • 2000 people attended the webinar on this new topic
  • 93% of the attendees at the webinar had done DNA testing
  • 87% of those who had tested had tested at AncestryDNA
  • there are over 300 genetic communities on Ancestry

If you weren’t able to attend you can still watch the recording for FREE until April 4th. Click HERE to watch.

What will you learn?

AncestryDNA released a new tool called Genetic Communities which identifies regions from which our ancestors came from roughly 200 years ago. These communities provide you with insight into your ancestry, and provide a new method to characterize and organize some of those mysterious matches! Together we’ll look at this new tool, how it works, and how you can use it.

Thinking about testing?

If you haven’t already tested with AncestryDNA then this might convince you that this test is right for you.
