Sometime when you working on a program whether it’s a genealogy program or any other program it can be frustrating. The bigger frustration is when you realize it’s a PICNIC (Problem in Chair Not in Computer).
That’s when you have to take a closer read of the manual that was provided and then if it’s still not clear then that’s when I start searching on Google or I’ll search for a U Tube video that explains whatever I’m working on. Or it might be a good time to take a break and go do something else (lets face it; I can always get the net out and capture some of those dust bunnies that have gotten out of hand).
As I moved this blog from the .com to the .org there was a learning curve and several glitches. But what I found was when I took a break and came back to the problem; often the problem was much easier to tackle. If that doesn’t work then you can always ask a friend or put a query out on the many social media sites. There is usually someone out there that would be happy to help.
As a society there are so many new technologies and products out there that it can be challenging to stay on top of it all but I think that’s what keeps us young and keep our mind in shape.
