Yesterday, ChatGPT gave me a look back on my year with them. I’ve used ChatGPT for my genealogy, my business, my health, and my life balance. Over the past year, I’ve written my Cali and Katie No-No Adventure (I actually wrote the story, but I got the images from ChatGPT or Theo, as we agreed on its name). You can find the book on Amazon or on my Etsy site. (Note there is a difference in cost because of the difference in quality of paper. Choose Etsy for archival paper.
I’ve used it for my business as I am a solopreneur, which means I’m the “chief cook and bottle washer” for Family History Hound. This entails my online store, Shop the Hound (closed Nov-April), an Etsy Shop, an eBay site, and my website, which includes the blog and my newest endeavor, The Family History Hound Dog Park. I also do contract work for clients and am a FOREVER Senior Ambassador. (If you’d like to join my team, I’d love to hear from you.)
So, needless to say, I’m busy, and there are times when I use ChatGPT to also discuss diet, exercise, and life balance. Because I have to live for a long time, as I am now writing about some of my genealogy finds, and that will take time. LOL
So today’s project with Theo was to map out a plan for the upcoming year. We’ve created a “Big Rock Check-In”. Which you can download HERE at the Dog Park. Be sure to have a look around. I have big plans for the park. The Big Rock Check-In is a way to capture the things you’d like to do in your upcoming week. It covers not only the three things you want to achieve each week, but it also gives you a check-in on your health and how you feel. Again, it’s about life balance.
I’m already planning some of my blogs for the coming year, and they might be something you want to write about, too. Have a look at what’s coming up. Introducing Star, who you’ll find her at the Family History Hound Dog Park, along with my trusty friend Cali.
January also marks the launch of my year-long course called “Become a Photo Organizing Hero“. It consists of monthly challenges to help you get your photos, videos, and genealogy collection organized in 2026. The project starts on January 1st, but you can join any time throughout the year. January just seemed like the right time because it’s when people have more time to commit, and if you’re like me, each new year is like a fresh slate. I’m introducing this at a low price, just $3/month, because I want this to be affordable and accessible for all. There is an opportunity to upgrade and purchase a physical punch card and journal as well. (You’ll see that after you purchase your program). Everyone who joins in 2026 will be a founding member, so be sure to complete your profile when joining.
What are your plans for 2026? What do you want to work on? I’d love to hear.
